Biography
Jolan Kegelaers is a clinical psychologist and assistant professor at the Brussels University Consultation Center (BRUCC) research group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He completed his PhD on the development of psychological resilience in sport. His main research interests are situated around (a) the promotion of mental health in sport and other performance domains and (b) the use of sport as a context to promote mental health in vulnerable populations. Additionally, he is interested in the application of pressure training and the use of novel Virtual Reality (VR) technologies within mental healthcare. He is also working as the performance psychologist for the Flemish Judo federation.
